Mojakka Piragis (Finnish Fish Stew)
One Cup each potatoes, celery, and onions diced in to 1/2 inch chunks Bring potatoes, celery, and onions to a boil over high heat and cook until potatoes are tender. Drain and return to saucepan. Pour enough milk and half-and-half to cover potato mixture by 1 to 2 inches, depending on how hearty you want your soup. Add the butter and bring to a boil. Add walleye fillet cubes, cover pan and remove from heat. Let stand covered to 10 minutes. Taste and add salt and pepper to taste. Makes about 1 1/2 quarts. Piragis Northwoods Company, Ely, MN
