Scandinavian Beef Stew

Source of recipe: I am the author of Unspeakable Joy Potato recipes which include some Viking-style dishes

Ingredients:
3 lbs venison, diced
2 lbs potatoes, diced
pot of water
1/4 cup minced dill
1/4 cup diced herring
1/4 cup diced carrots
2 tbsp lingenberry jam
4 tbsp diced lingenberries
1 slices diced Norwegian cheese

Directions: Mix everything together, and stirring well, simmer in a pot of water for 40 minutes. Garnish stew with one slice of diced Norwegian cheese.
